Gunman bursts into Lawrenceville GA home

“He saw me and another guy standing over there and pulled the gun and said, ‘Give me y’all’s money.’ That’s all he said,” said James Johnson.Johnson said a man burst into his home on Plantation Boulevard in the Lawrenceville area Tuesday afternoon while he and some workers were doing a renovation.

Lawrenceville woman charged with husband's stabbing death

A Lawrenceville woman has been charged with the stabbing death of her husband. She initially told police that she and her husband were victims of a home invasion, but police found inaccuracies in her story. My first impression, when I heard about this, was that she might have been influenced by the recent Loganville home invasion case, in which an elderly couple were attacked. Makes me think that it was more of a crime of passion than a planned out murder (because if she planned it out, she would have known that the suspects in that case have been arrested or at least known that the police would remember that recent Loganville crime), but that's just my opinion ... Lawrenceville shooting, carjacking - suspect at large

The owner of the car was shot, the car stolen, suspect is still at large. Police haven't given out the woman's identity for her safety. They believe there's a possibility that the perpetrator knew the woman. The woman was shot after a struggle with the carjacker. She is in stable condition at a local hospital after surgery, and we wish her a speedy recovery.
