Twice a year every year the kidsignment sale is held at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds in Lawrenceville (near Grayson). The Spring 2008 Kidsignment sale starts February 19.

Where are you shopping this Christmas?
This year, my Christmas budget is limited. Because it is limited, I am determined to make the value of the money I am spending have a large a punch as possible. The way I plan to make the most of my holiday money is to purchase from local businesses. Local business owners are the people who contribute the most to our community. They pay a large chunk of the taxes, and they give their time volunteering for the greater good.
Sure, chain stores do a good job of employing local people, at the lowest pay possible, and delivering big-ticket items at the best prices, but by spending your money at small businesses ensures that a greater chunk of what you spent will stay in your community. You may also be surprised to find that there may be some flexibility in price.
Where am I buying from this Christmas?
Well, on December 1, from 1-6 pm, the Women of Gwinnett, a local women's business networking group is having a holiday show where we will demonstrate our businesses and hopefully make some Christmas sales. I plan to start there. If you live in or near Gwinnett County GA and want a unique shopping experience this Sunday, Please some to the North Georgia Fencing Center at 4403 Mendi Court, Suwanee Georgia. In addition, the group is having a silent auction to support the students who learn the sport of Fencing at this location.
Now, I am not going to vilify you if you have already spent all of your money on Black Thursday and Cyber Monday at the brand name, and probably at least foreign owned establishments. However, if you have more shopping to do, please consider buying local for the rest of the season.

Support Lawrenceville This Christmas
Did you participate in the Black Monday frenzy last Friday, I did not. Besides two presents that I don't know where else to get besides the big name buyers, I am purchasing everything else this Christmas from boutiques, and shops in the area this year. I am also attending the Women of Gwinnett Sale in Suwanee GA on Dec (at the North GA Fencing Center).

Best Bargains on Black Friday in Lawrenceville GA
I wrote this article last year, but not alot has changed. If you plan on getting a jump-start on your black friday shopping read this article.
#1 Tip for finding the best bargains on Black Friday in Lawrenceville GA Decide what you need to purchase. If you are buying Toys, then you want to go to Walmart Supercenter at 630 Collins Hill Rd. They will have a good stock of the hottest toys for the season and will very likely have a few loss leaders that you can grab if you get there when the store is opening. If you need clothing or electronics, or all of the above, you will definitely want to make the Walmart Supercenter your first stop. read more:

Discover Mills Outlet
Discover Mills Outlet Mall is an interesting place.
I like to get exercise in the mornings before the store opens by walking the 1 mile lap "track" around the mall. You can join the Mall Walker Club if you wish.
I like to have meetings in the food court (during non meal rush hours of course).
I love to shop at Discover Mills too... my favorite store is Ross.
I love to eat there too, my favorite restaurants are Chili's in the food court and Carino's outside the mall.
The most interesting thing I think there is about the mall is the Church. I have never seen a mall church before. I believe it is called St Davids.
The best times to shop are weekday mornings. Saturdays and Sundays are not a good idea at all.
