Gwinnett County Police are holding a job fair.

That's why the Gwinnett County Police Department is holding a job fair from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. Feb. 9 at its training facility at 854 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville. Starting salary for a police officer is $35,023. Applicants who already possess a police officer state certification start at $37,647. Job candidates will not be considered if they have a felony conviction or are under the age of 20.
