New Lawrenceville consignment shop accepting items

Before and After Babies, a consignment boutique in Lawrenceville, has a tentative opening date of April 15, 2009. Consignment periods are for 90 days.

Consigning with Before & After Babies is fun and profitable. Consigning at Before & After Babies offers 40% of profit to you! Checks over $20 can be picked up on the 10th of each month. The 1st thing to know about consigning is when the clothing consignment seasons begin. Winter clothing consignment begins in September and Summer clothing consignment begins in April.

How to bring in your clothes

Clothing needs to ready for sale

• Freshly laundered (dry) & odor free. Items must be from smoke free homes
• No lint or animal hair on the items
• Current and up-to-date styles
• Put outfits and sets together. Outfits and sets sell better than individual pieces
• Items must be in excellent condition - no missing buttons, stains, tears, must have working zippers, etc…
• Items should be brought into the store in a neat fashion

Equipment Must Be

• Clean and in excellent working condition
• No items on the recall list

• Item must be fully assembled in store, by you.

Items we need

• All seasons. Boys and Girls Clothing up to size 10 and maternity
• HANGERS! If you can bring the item in on hangers that will be great!
• Baby Equipment - strollers, swings, exersaucers, carriers (Baby Bjorn, Snugli, slings, etc.), pack & plays, bassinets, booster seats, high chairs, bed rails, safety gates, play yards, changing tables, cradles, DVDs, CDs, books, and much, much more!
• All furniture must meet Federal and State safety regulations.

What we want

• February - April: Spring wear
• April - June: Summer wear
• July - September: Fall/Back to School; Fall wear
• September - October: Halloween costumes
• October - January: Winter wear, Christmas seasonal items
