What: Artist Reception with Tom Nakashima

Nakashima will speak about his art and the artistic process in a free lecture and reception. Nakashima is the William S. Morris Eminent Scholar in Art at Augusta State University. He is a painter and printmaker who has exhibited internationally and has lectured in the U.S. and Japan. Nakashima's works are in the permanent collections of over fifty galleries and museums including The Corcoran Gallery of Art,The Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the Long Beach Museum of Art.
