New Lions Club forming in Dacula needs members

A NEW LIONS CLUB IN DACULA

At 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, 4 June 2009, the second organizational meeting of a new Lions club being formed in Dacula will be held at the Dacula Branch of the Gwinnett Library on Dacula Road.

Although Lions are the largest service organization in the world with over 1.3 million members in 205 countries and geographic areas, the primary focus of a club is on local community service.

Indeed, assessing the community needs of Dacula will be one of the topics that will begin being discussed during this one hour meeting time. What service projects this new club of Lions accomplishes in Dacula will be a decision made by the members of the club.

A Lions club requires at least 20 new members, so there a need for civic minded individuals in the Dacula area to join this club and immediately begin to make a difference in the community.
